TRAVELBREAK LLC is by millennial travelers for millennial travelers. 

 

And guess what... in 2014, a cover letter and resume isn't going to cut it. 

We don't want to hear about what you do, we want to see it. 

 

 

 

 

I. To be eligible for a TRAVELBREAK Creative Career, applicants must submit the following:

 

1. Portfolio, description, examples, or links to previous campaigns/ works/ writing sample.

2. Cover letter reflecting your personality, professional drive, and your approach to creative thinking.

3. Resume inclusive of Education, Work/ Internship Experience, Organizations, Skills, and Travel Experience 

4. Pitch - - as a member of the CREATIVE team at TRAVELBREAK, what would you do for the company? Hint... don't tell us the generic functions of the role you're applying for; show us your creativity!

5. Answer these questions

II. Email us your package to Info@TravelBreak.net by Monday, June 23, 2014 midnight PST. 

 

Applicants will then go through a first round of interviews with the Operations Manager. 

Applicants will go through a second round of interviews with the TRAVELBREAK CEO and Angel Investor. 

 

III. Try it out!

 

Candidates will be hired for a project-based contract as an independent sub-contractor. Ten hours a week, starting rate of $25 an hour. After one to three months of working part-time as an independent contractor,

individuals will potentially have the opportunity to become full-time employees with company benefits.  

 

 

 

 

1. Do I have to live in LOS ANGELES to apply?

 

Some roles require that candidates be based in Los Angeles these include:

 

- Operations Manager

- Social Media Manager

- Marketing Manager

- Business Development Manager

 

2. Will TRAVELBREAK sponsor a U.S. visa for me to work within the United States?

 

Unfortunately, we are unable to sponsor potential employees at this time. As firm believers of travel and expat life, we hope to one day be able to create opportunities for expats in the United States. However, if you have a legal working visa for the U.S., but are not an American citizen; you can apply for said positions. 

 

3. Can U.S. Citizens abroad apply?

 

U.S. Citizens currently overseas living as expats are qualified to apply for roles not required to be based in Los Angeles.
