1. OPERATIONS MANAGER

1. OPERATIONS MANAGER

Experienced in recruiting and selecting talent. Duties will include securing the best person for each role, managing SOPs, keeping track of employees’ hours, paying employees, providing weekly agendas, and managing meetings. Candidates must have at least a Bachelors Degree and located in Los Angeles.

2. SENIOR EDITOR

TRAVELBREAK will now feature contributing bloggers. Senior Editor must have excellent writing skills to edit all written blog posts. Editor will also edit email templates, letters, press releases, etc and all other written communication as representative of TRAVELBREAK. Candidates will preferably have a B.A. or Masters in Communication, Journalism, or English Majors. Candidates will have experience in writing copy for a news or magazine outlet (print or online).

3. Content Curator - Blogs

3. Content Curator - Blogs

Content Manager of Blogs will select, recruit, and contact bloggers who are ideal as contributors for TRAVELBREAK Media. Blog Manager will manage correspondence, have bloggers sign required legal documents, select blog posts/ articles for Senior Editor to approve, and upload blog posts. Candidates will have a B.A. or Masters in Communications, Journalism, English, Sociology, or Global Studies.

4. Copy Writer of Destinations

4. Copy Writer of Destinations

Copy Writer of Destinations is to be really "punny" and clever. Writing should make references to pop culture, entertainment, and literature. Candidates will have a B.A. or Masters in Communication, Journalism, or English Majors. Candidates will have experience in writing copy.

Copy Writer of Events is to be really "punny" and clever. Writing should make references to pop culture, entertainment, and literature. Candidates will preferably have a B.A. or Masters in Communication, Journalism, or English Majors. Candidates will have experience in writing copy.

6. Content Manager Photos/ Video

6. Content Manager Photos/ Video

Content Manager of Photos/ Video needs to find, recruit, and organize the world’s best travel photographers and videographers. Content Manager will manage correspondence, have photographers and videographers sign property release forms, organize content in Dropbox, and either edit photos/video or pass them on to an editor for blog use or to the social media manager for use. Content Manager of Photos/ Video will have experience in Adobe Photoshop CS4 or newer.

7. Social Media Manager

7. Social Media Manager

Social Media Manager will create original posts for TRAVELBREAK Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Google +, Tumblr, and Pinterest. Posts will be scheduled ahead of time, and timeline will be approved by PR Manager. Candidates will preferably have a B.A. or Masters in Communication, Journalism, Sociology, Design, or English Majors. Candidates will have experience in writing copy.

8. Public Relations Manager

8. Public Relations Manager

PR Manager will generate publicity stunts and opportunities to get TRAVELBREAK in news, magazines, radio, television, events, and online mediums. PR Manager will have experience in PR and have contacts at major industry outlets. PR Manager will also contribute to organizing philanthropy activities and partners with Business Development Manager. Candidates will preferably have a B.A. or Masters in Communication, Journalism, Sociology, Design, or English Majors.

9. Marketing Manager

9. Marketing Manager

Marketing Manager will over-see all areas of marketing including marketing budget; attaining market feedback, and expanding the market via publicity exposure (working with PR Manager), product development (working with CEO), and partners/ sponsors (working with Business Development Manager). Marketing Manager will also work will all content curators. Marketing manager will oversee online marketing, create original marketing campaigns/ strategies, and organize promotional events.

10. Business Development Manager

10. Business Development Manager

Biz Development Manager will identify, secure, and organize brand partners, sponsors, and individuals within the travel industry - and non-travel industry that can compliment TRAVELBREAK. Manager will create, develop, and execute campaigns (whether online or via events) with the PR Manager and Marketing Manager. Candidates will preferably have a B.A. or Masters in Communication, Journalism, or English Majors.

11. Graphic Designer

11. Graphic Designer

Graphic designer will create info-graphics for social media, articles, and team members. From the media kit for the PR and Biz Development Manager, to the e-book cover for the CEO, the graphic designer will work on projects as needed. Graphic Designer will have a degree in Graphic Design or have three professional years of graphic design experience.
